Underground bunker: Sector 5

Another Google Sketchup project. This time the rendering was also done in E-on Vue Infinite. This time I wanted to add more detail, so I began drawing and modeling in Google Sketchup.

The underground bunker 2: Sector 5

First I created a long corridor with a T-junction. In this corridor I modeled floor gratings and on the edging some kind of sewer. On the rightside of the corridor you can see the railing I designed.

Side view of the bunker

The ‘outside’ view of the bunker. I drew a long rectangle and made this hollow. This is the complete base of the model. From there I added each element piece by piece. In the distance you can see the t-junction where I positioned the main camera.

3D Model of the bunker

Piece by piece I modeled the railing in full detail and placed this railing along the corridor, exactly at the t-junction.

Making of the railing in the corridor

All of the textures used in this model where made in Adobe Photoshop and imported into Google Sketchup. The final render is done in E-on Vue Infinite. You can see the final image at the top.
Thanks for reading.
